Phototonic Stimulation

E-mail Print PDF

A new type of non-invasive treatment is being undertaken in the USA: photon stimulation; essentially, this uses a bombardment of photons in infra-red light, to restore normal circulation to affected areas.

It has been used predominantly by chiropractors, who claim success with RSD/CRPS.

Bales, the manufacturers, claim that this therapy is helpful in a variety of conditions, including cases of ?Failed Back Surgery Syndrome' that involve sympathetically-maintained pain.

However, the majority of resources for RSD do not cite this as a breakthrough treatment.

This requires further investigation.
