Does anyone know what the situation is as regards the latest research on finding a cure or a better treatment for arach? Any links?
I need something to give me hope and a reason to keep going.

Hi Kev
It's been very quiet in the Forum lately. With regard to anything new to help us sufferers, I've been looking at Stem Cell therapy and Glyconutrients. The latter was recently recommended to me by a Pharmacist, so I might give it a go!
Take care, Helen

Hi Hele, thanks for your quick reply. I had wondered about stem cell therapy as i read of MS sufferers going to Holland for treatment in the news. Do you know if Arachnoiditis is suitable for this treatment yet?
I had not heard of Glyconutrients but will look into it.

Thanks

Kev

Sorry there is not much news as yet, but Prof. Aldrete in Florida is looking at arach. and sees a lot of arach. patients.
I keep an eye out for new developments in similar conditions and also generally in the field of pain management, which I work in.

Where there's life there's hope!

Hi DocSarah
I am so happy to hear from you again, in regards to research in pain management in your opinion would you say that the spinal stimulator is a viable solution or at least does it usually help alleviate the pain or is it even worth it?

Thanks so much
Ang
