Hi Meledie Joy
I've had nerve conduction tests twice, the second set more thorough and sophisticated than the first. My experience was also very painful and the results only confirmed that my arachnoiditis had spread throughout my spine. I've considered having more tests as 4 years has lapsed, but personally I don't want to be given more bad news. It's for you to decide, but the more extensive tests I had involved needles inserted very close to my spine and it was painful and there is also the risk of infection. I can only advise you to proceed with caution and ask for more information before undergoing such tests.
Best wishes, Helen

Helen,
I want to thank you for your post and for sharing your experience with me. I'm putting this test off until I can get more information.
Thank you so much!
