Anyone out there suffering from optic atrophy caused by adhesive arachnoiditis? I hope not but my wife who has been diagnosed since 1978 is. I'll give a brief synopsis in 1977 MK had a pantopaque myleogram when they attempted to remove the dye the table was tilted and the pantopaque was dispersed throughout her spinal canal and into the posterior fossa.Initially there were visual problems but they resolved. In 2006 MK's vision began to noticeably lessen and by this year she has been declared legally blind and it has really made life difficult as she has been in a wheelchair since 2003. Just hoping to see if anyone has anything to share.
Thanks for listening,
Bob
