Here's how you can get your very own avatar picture.

First create your Avatar picture (geeky or otherwise.) It must be 70x70 pixels or less and less than 40k in size. Then save it in either the 'jpeg' format if it's a photograph, or the 'gif' format if it's a drawing of some sort.

When you're logged into the forum, you should see 'my profile', in green, near the top of the page. Click on it to get your profile page. Scroll down your profile page and look for an option to select your Avatar.When you're on the Avatar selection page, you'll see an option to 'Submit a new Avatar for Upload'. Click on the 'browse' button and then navigate to the avatar jpeg or gif that you prepared earlier.

To select your avatar pic, double click on the avatar gif or jpeg file in the 'Choose file' window. Finally, click on the 'upload' button to upload your avatar to the website. Your new avatar picture should now appear on all your posts. Have fun!
