Hi Becky,

so sorry not to have replied sooner. I am in the middle of a lot of domestic hassle right now.

To be honest, pinpointing a specific procedure as the cause for your arachnoiditis may well be fruitless: the main thing is for you to find a way forward in managing the symptoms.

I would caution strongly against any further invasive interventions (injections) as they could possibly exacerbate the problems and in any case are highly unlikely to be effective.

Hope this helps,

Take care,

DocSarah

Hello Dr., Do you recommend a pain specialist or an internal medicene dr. for pharmacological management? We have a wonderful internist with a specialty in pharmacology local. The closest pain docs are in Lewiston,Idaho about 3 hrs from my home. The drive is terrible on my pain.It takes me 3-4 days to recover.Thank You for your time.Nicoletti.

sorry, I have been away for a long while from the forum.

The only doctor I know of who sees arach. patients is Prof Antonio Aldrete in Florida

Hope this helps,

Regards,
