Doctor Sarah,
I would be really grateful for your help. I have had a diagnosis of arachnoiditis at level L4/5 for the past seven years. I had to leave this country to get this diagnosis in the first place, as it occured as a result of an epidural injection of Depo-Medrol. Unfortunatly the specialist I went to, only deals with the lumber spine. The more I have studied this disease, the more convinced I am that I have Thoracic arachnoiditis also. The reason I think this is that from the start, my main symptoms were tight band sensations around my upper chest and diaphram, at the time all that I cared about was that someone made the connection between the epidural and the numb/burning legs and feet. As I said I had to leave this country to get this diagnosis in the first place, but now, even though arachnoiditis has been proven, they are once again refusing to give me an MRI of the upper spine. This is leaving me very upset and scared and feeling that it must be very bad or that they would tell me. Also for the past while I am finding it harder and harder to sleep on either my back or either side. Please, please help me.
Mary
